A pair of good friends looking to live closer together - purchasing a single family property and adding additional dwelling units to increase density. We designed shared outdoor space to suit their time together and apart.

This larger unit will house the family already with a young child.

This unit will house the smaller of the two families.

The group will access to shared spaces. While each dwelling unit will have their own private outdoor space.

Shared indoor outdoor porch located between Unit A and B. It has direct visual connection into each unit so attention and support can be pooled.

The shared porch leads out to the shared deck and garden.
